WHAT IS IT EXACTLY???
Oasis-the very word conjures a picture in the mind of a peaceful resting spot- a place to replenish and rejuvenate. That is exactly what Oasis, the Christian spiritual event scheduled for February 5th at the University of Rio Grande promises to be. Just as an oasis in the middle of the desert offers the opportunity to refresh, so does Oasis.
Those who planned Oasis are not focused on religion but rather a deeper relationship with Christ.
Dr. Rick Rigsby, and all those present on the night of February 5th, will challenge seekers in attendance to dig deeper to develop a more meaningful relationship with Christ. For those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, the opportunity to accept Him as their personal savior will be given.
